It's bedtime,
So settle down.
No need to frown.
Drown your sorrows
And let me tuck you in.
Pull your covers
Up to your tiny chin.
Make yourself warm and comfortable,
Cozy up in your blankets of bubble,
Wrap up and cuddle your teddy.
It's time for your lullabies
Of night time that rhyme.
Now you're tired,
So it's bed for you,
My darling daughter.
Sleep is what you desire.
If I could I would
Fill your room with stars,
Hanging over your bed
And in each corner of your room,
Filled with soft cuddly bears
So that you can
Sleep easy and peacefully.
Close your eyes
And sleep, my child,
Whilst I sit here so serenely.
