Dear Granddaughter

You came to us as a Princess
A pretty Granddaughter baby girl
So full of love and laughter
A sparkling diamond in this world

You were Unicorns and Rainbows
Smiles and giggles from the start
A beautiful ray of sunshine
You captured our lives and heart

We had play days together
Sleep overs and tea party's too
Dance rehearsals dressed all in pink
So adorable that was you.

As years go by we watched you grow
Into a lady oh so keen
You may not be our little girl now
But YOU the princess is a queen
