I wish you could see the world through my eyes.
You'd understand me better and release fewer sighs.

There's so much that goes on inside my head.
So many thoughts and feelings that go unsaid.

There's so much that I want to share with you.
There are so many things I wish you knew.

I understand more than you will ever know.
More than this trapped soul is able to show.

Please don't lose patience or give up on me.
I fight every day to be the best I can be.

Winter time is here again, the trees are all but bare
It's time to don the scarves and boots, & warmer things to wear.
Bikinis, shorts and summer tops, have all been packed away
They won't see the light again, till next year's summer's day.

The kids get all excited at this special time of year
They know that Santa's coming, that's when presents will appear.
Dress the Christmas trees with baubles, put the fairy on the top
Go & look at all the festive lights, as you do the Christmas shop.

The air outside gets colder, and the snow is all around
The animals all hibernate, some beneath the frozen ground.
The birds fly South for winter, they go to find a warmer place
But the robin, he remains here, he puts a smile upon our face.

Now winter time is beautiful, it's crisp and clean, but cold
And when there's frost and Ice about, it's scary for the old.
Trying to walk on icy pavements, when conditions get this grim
The chance of falling just increases, you could easily break a limb.

And when the winter brings us Christmas, with all its festive chest
Time to celebrate the season, maybe have ourselves a beer.
The family gets together, for the annual Christmas lunch
It's the only time you see them, altogether as a bunch.

So what is love? What does it mean?
People say 'I love you' in many ways, each and every day
To their partners, even their animals,
to their family and friends along the way.

Love is ..... a four letter word that everyone here  would easily know how to spell
But to describe it there are many factors
one must consider as well.

Love is .....the obvious, if we asked a young child
they might say it's being kind, gentle and caring,
Sacrificing  the very last Tim Tam in the packet
we refer to as giving and sharing.

Love is .... so much more than this
and in a relationship it's definitely a must
Love is ..... honesty, understanding,
acceptance, respect and a whole lot of trust.

Love is ......being transparent, being vulnerable, being faithful and forever true
It's sometimes having  to spend a day
alone without you

Love is .....raising a family
It may be two of you, it could be ten,
It can also be continually doing that one tedious chore for someone, over and over again.

Love is ..... not always easy, it can cause problems
or an altercation 
But love is learning how to find a solution together through communication

Love is .....a roller coaster ride
That will definitely have its ups and downs
And twists and turns and  bumpy sections
filled with smiles and even some frowns

Love is ....seeing the person next to you
who is ready by your side
To make the journey with you and accompany you on life's rocky roller coaster ride.

Love is …..  not to taken for granted because sadly it can disappear
It is in trying times you must really use love to help you conquer all sadness and fear.

Love is ….. definitely a powerful word that is made up of so many parts
We hope that love continues to grow and blossom nestled within your hearts.

When a smile can lift a fallen soul
Or a loving touch make one whole
If just one heart we can console
Our Song of Love we can't withhold

So many people today are broken
Words of hope have ne'er been spoken
Their faith and love must be awoken
Our Song of Hope we must break open

How can we let the hurting suffer
While we stand by acting tougher
All we do is make things rougher
Our Song of Strength can be a buffer

A ray of light we might bring
To those who may have lost a wing
What a sound of joy will ring
When we let our Heart Song sing

when the stream of time began to flow
when the world we know first came to be
when the stars first formed a sparkling sea
our love was born

before the break of that first dawn
before the summer wind could breathe a sigh
before plumed minstrels scaled the sky
our love had wings

and this love we feel will always be
until the final minstrel ends its flight
until the final day meets final night
our love will live
