You're not that far away.
I can still envision your smile.
God brought you to be with Him,
But I'll see you in a while.

Those days when I am feeling down,
And I feel we're far apart,
I promise to never overlook you
But to look inside my heart.

The memories I have of you,
They're filled with love and care,
And even though you've gone away,
I know that you're still there.

I wish that we could sit and laugh
Like we used to do,
But heaven needed another angel,
And yes, I get that too.
