Politics Poems

It is said that there are two things that one should never bring up in polite conversation. These two things are politics and religion. There are no two subjects that get people riled up as much as these two subjects. We are unable to understand how a person that we have so much in common with cannot see what we believe is only way to run our government. Politics are so important to us because they hold our core values about the way we believe that life should be. When someone disagrees with us about politics, they are arguing with our beliefs about the way we believe life should be.
