This poem is beautiful! I love it! My dad has walked two of my sisters down the aisle, and I imagine this poem would touch their lives. It had me in tears.

Who Is She?

She's a soft cool rain on a hot summer's day.
She makes me laugh with the funny things she has to say.

She's the beat of my heart and the air that I breathe.
She's the sun and the wind and autumn's golden leaves.

She's the pride that I feel when I know she's done what's right.
She's that warm feeling I get when I remember tucking her in at night.

She is homework and sports and a busy social life.
She has this beautiful smile that could light the darkest night.

She is the scared feeling I have when she stays out late.
Or the feeling that I am losing her when she wants to date.

She's the mixed emotions I have, as I watch her mature and grow.
I tell myself she will never leave, but I know in my heart that someday she will go.

I hope the man that steals her heart will treat her like a queen
Because she deserves so much more than a man that treats her mean.

I will always cherish the wonderful times we have had.
The best part of my life was being her dad.

So now you know who she is, she's my little girl.
I love her with all my heart and I always will.

I wrote a little poem, for my little baby girl,
So that she'll remember, the days we used to Twirl,
Remember that I've loved her, since the day that we first met.
To make sure she knows this, it's a solid bet.
As I walk you down the aisle today, with family and friends so dear,
Remember that I love you, and I say it for all to hear.
From your chubby little cheeks, to your tiny toes,
I've loved you like no other, with your little button nose.
We've watched you as you've grown; to the lady you are today,
You've made us all so proud, in each and every way.
And you'll take a partner soon, a man you'll keep for life,
He'll soon become your husband; you'll soon become his wife.
And I know that he will care for you, as you will care for him,
Even through the days, when life looks so grim,
And the two of you will grow, this I have no doubt,
for you love each other dearly, that's what it's all about.
But, you'll always be my daughter, my little baby girl,
This you already know, as I give you one more twirl,
From the beginning to forever, from the moment of our first kiss
you'll always be my baby, this I'll never miss.
I love you Christina,
